Start for realThe problem
Most companies now pay for AI tools, but almost none have anyone who owns making them produce results. Pilots start, stall and get quietly abandoned, not because the technology fails but because nobody chose the right task, measured a baseline, or stayed accountable.
The gap is not more AI experts. It is people who understand how a business runs and can turn AI into measured results inside it.
The role
How money and work actually flow.
One process, the right tool, or no tool at all.
Baselines, pilots, kill criteria, real numbers.
Human checkpoints, data rules, handover and jurisdiction-aware governance.
No coding required. The scarce skill is business judgement applied to AI.

Learn by doing
Twin · Simulated company
Run the full engagement inside a realistic simulated company. Interview AI-played managers who hold back information, request data, make mistakes that cost nothing.
Live · Real business
Run the same stages at your real employer or a practice business. Produce a result your sponsor will sign.
Stuck at work? Rehearse the stage in Twin, then go back with a plan.
AI inside the platform
Reviews every artifact against four tests (Evidence, Business clarity, Rigor, Safety), recomputes your numbers, asks questions, and never writes the work for you.
Realistic managers, staff and a sponsor in Twin, each with their own knowledge, blind spots and objections.
As you pass stages, an AI strategy for the business drafts itself from your own evidence. You confirm every line. By Stage 8 it is written.

Sponsor attestation (Live)
A dated, measured portfolio outranks a certificate. You get both.
Three credential levels
First rung · earn it with theory alone
Every theory module check passed. No Twin or Live work needed.
All nine stages passed in Twin.
All nine stages passed in Live, with sponsor attestation and a public verification page.

Who it is for
Built for the rules
One practical approach works across jurisdictions: know where AI is used, train people for their roles, test effects on people, keep a human accountable and record what happened.
The Path brings together a use register, risk and impact notes, human checkpoints, a staff policy, training records, sign-off and an incident plan. The applicable legal duties still depend on location, sector and use.
Legal duty
The EU AI Act requires AI providers and deployers to take measures supporting AI literacy appropriate to their staff and use context. Check prohibited uses, transparency, high-risk classification, GDPR and applicable commencement dates separately.
Operator action: Map AI users and roles; give relevant training; record what was covered and when; assign a human reviewer for consequential uses.
Check source ↗Existing law + regulator guidance
No single general AI-literacy course is mandated. Data protection, equality, consumer and sector rules still apply to AI-assisted work.
Operator action: Train staff for their actual tasks; document privacy and fairness checks, human review, ownership and regulator-specific duties.
Check source ↗Federal, state and local rules
No nationwide AI-literacy mandate. Sector and state rules differ for employment, insurance, healthcare, finance and other consequential decisions.
Operator action: Identify every relevant state and regulator; document staff competency, testing, vendor controls and human review before deploying.
Check source ↗Existing law + voluntary guidance
No economy-wide compulsory AI-literacy course. Existing privacy, consumer and sector obligations apply; the government AI safety standard is voluntary.
Operator action: Train by role and risk; keep an inventory, privacy and safety assessment, named owner and incident response process.
Check source ↗Check locally
Rules vary by country and even region. This overview cannot determine which rules apply to a particular organisation.
Operator action: Record where the system operates and affects people; check local law and regulator advice; retain training and oversight evidence.
Check source ↗Check conduct, customer-outcome, credit, underwriting, fair-pricing, recordkeeping and vendor duties. Some EU credit and life/health insurance uses may be high-risk; US insurance guidance varies by state.
Check patient privacy, clinical safety, medical-device status and whether clearance or conformity assessment is required. Keep clinical oversight and incident escalation.
Professional duties of competence, confidentiality, accuracy and supervision remain with the practitioner. Review AI output before advice or filings and check local bar or regulator guidance.
Check student or citizen data, fairness, transparency, appeals and human oversight. Some EU education and essential-service uses can be high-risk.
Employment, privacy, consumer and safety rules can apply even outside a regulated sector. Classify the use, not just the industry.
Rules change. Verify anything you rely on in writing against a current official source or qualified adviser. This is general information, not legal advice. Guidance reviewed 2 October 2026.
